Please mark your calendars for the annual Field Day to be held in Miles City (near San Angelo) at the home of Glen Halfmann and family on June 21, 2008. These events are always a great time for everyone to visit with fellow breeders to exchange ideas and philosophy about our association. This event also has serious business to conduct as well with the annual election of officers and directors. We NEED your attendance and voice in selecting the leadership that will set the course for our association. Please check back soon to learn more details about events, times and hotel information.

On a different note, the annual sale in Glen Rose was a huge success with females selling at near record levels and a new all time high sale average for bulls. More detail will be posted in the near future. The annual basket sale and heifer donation provided by Two Bit Ranch raised a combined $9,910. These funds are vitally important to the association and allows the TRAA leadership to operate as needed to conduct business. Thanks to Two Bit Ranch and the buyers of baskets at the dinner and donation heifer tickets.

Last but not least, special thanks goes out to Kelly Box our TRAA Sale Committee Chairman for all of his efforts. Kelly was assisted a great deal by Kyley Devoe and we all owe them a great deal of appreciation for the long hours that they worked to make this sale a great success.
